Allison Moody - Pastor  pastor@firstpresmonroe.org

Allison and Jackie Moody, both Mississippi natives, moved to Monroe in September, 2004.  He has served churches in south Georgia and in Columbia, SC.  In Columbia he served as pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church for nine years and Jackie was employed by Trinity Presbytery as the Administrative Assistant.  Married in 1975, the Moody's have two children, John age 24 and Katherine age 22.  Prior to entering the ministry, Allison was a banker for fifteen years.  Allison received his Master of Divinity (1992) and his Doctor of Ministry (2004) degrees from Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, GA.

Lisa Lawrence - Director of Christian Education  lisa@firstpresmonroe.org

Lisa and her husband Bobby and son Chad joined First Presbyterian Church of Monroe in 1994.  A lifelong West Monroe resident, Lisa joined the staff at First Presbyterian in April of 1998.  She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, graduating with a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Music.  Lisa is currently enrolled in Christian Education classes pursuing the title of Certified Christian Educator PC(USA).

Joni Smith - Church Secretary  joni@firstpresmonroe.org

Joni joined the FPC staff in February 2003 to help assist the secretarial needs of the Pastor and members. Other responsibilities during her work week include preparing weekly bulletins, monthly newsletters, church mail outs, and maintaining membership software. She and her husband share their home in Monroe with their children.
